Andreas Ottensamer stands within a rare family tradition: his father and brother were, respectively are, principal clarinetists of the Vienna Philharmonic. Together with them, he founded the trio “The Clarinotts,” which has been the dedicatee of several new works. He combines a strong solo profile with chamber music and stylistic flexibility, allowing the clarinet to shine between the great orchestral tradition and a contemporary perspective.
