“Dance Evenings” with the Rowsekit Band mean listening to music, moving along, and joining in the dance. The Salzburg-based band understands its program as a bridge between styles and cultures, leading from waltz through swing and jazz to pop, rock, funk, soul, as well as Spanish and Italian sounds. Singer and violinist Elia Antúnez gives the music its face and seeks direct contact with the audience. Drummer Radu Buzac shapes the pulse and guides the spontaneous transitions. Rowsekit reads the room, adjusts tempi, order, and duration of the pieces, and transforms set lists into a living dialogue. Short, clear instructions for steps make it easy to join in: couple dancing, line dancing, or solo—everything is possible. Those who take a break can simply listen and rejoin later.
