Continuee Infos

The band Neuzeit combines organ, double bass, and drums into a “chamber-jazz” laboratory for classical repertoire. Andreas Hirschmann, the trio’s driving force, reshapes works by Orff, Bach, Grieg, and Satie into clearly structured grooves. Martell Beigang contributes flexible patterns and pop experience, while Thomas Falke grounds the ensemble melodically. Neuzeit transforms well-known masterpieces into “chamber-jazz” miniatures. Organ, double bass, and drums open new sonic spaces for Grieg, Tchaikovsky, Paganini, and Satie. Structure meets groove, melody meets a subtle pulse. The program “Timeless” leads from Morning Mood and Rondo alla turca to The Swan, Vocalise, and Badinerie, revealing how familiar themes can appear in a new light.
